These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Life Dream Design website and any consultation or design engagement with us. Please read them together with our Cancellations & Refunds and Privacy Policy pages.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, requesting a consultation or engaging Life Dream Design for design services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Design engagements are additionally governed by the written scope and fee proposal you sign.

Scope & Fees

Services are provided as fixed-fee stages described in a written proposal. Fees on this website are starting prices for typical projects; the signed proposal governs. Changes to scope are quoted in writing before work proceeds. Each stage includes one revision round unless the proposal states otherwise.

Payment

Each stage is invoiced 50% on commencement and 50% on delivery unless the proposal states otherwise. Invoices are due within 14 days. Deliverables may be withheld until the corresponding invoice is paid. Site support is billed monthly.

Deliverables & Use

Layouts, renderings, drawings and specifications are delivered as PDF (and DWG on request) for your use in building the described project at the described property. They may not be resold or reused for other properties without our written consent. See Deliverables & Delivery.

Promotional Offers

Promotional offers, including the free September layout, are subject to the terms on the Free Layout page. Offers cannot be combined and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Construction & Professional Services

Life Dream Design provides design services. We are not a general contractor, structural engineer or architect of record, and our drawings do not replace engineering or architectural stamps where a village or lender requires them; we will tell you when they are needed and can coordinate with licensed professionals. Contractors you engage are responsible for their own work, permits and code compliance.

Budgets & Estimates

Budget ranges we provide are good-faith estimates based on current trade pricing and are not guarantees. Actual construction costs depend on contractor bids, site conditions and material availability.

Limitation of Liability

Life Dream Design is not liable for losses or costs caused by events beyond our reasonable control, by contractors or suppliers, or by deviations from our drawings. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

All content on this website, including text, illustrations and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located in DuPage County, Illinois.
